What are RECONCILIATION ACTION PLANS?

Reconciliation Action Plans demonstrate an organisation’s commitment to building stronger relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. They are a formal statement of intent to promote cultural understanding, foster respectful connections, and to provide opportunity to First Nations peoples. They enable organisations to embed meaningful reconciliation action, both internally and within their wider community, and to progress the path to full reconciliation.

Such an important document deserves the best supporting design and we offer packages that include cultural artworks, created by our team, that represent key pillars of your reconciliation journey and enhance your written content. If you have a RAP artwork created by another Aboriginal artist, we will happily work in collaboration/consultation with them. We can also assist with printing services for your finished RAP.

OUR PROCESS DEVELOPING RAP ARTWORKS

Discovery call

Connection and alignment is so important, and our initial conversations, such as discovery calls, ensure collaboration from the beginning of your project.

2.

Onboarding call

This is our time to brainstorm, collaborate, and reflect so that we gain a deeper understanding of the focus of your reconciliation journey, and to ensure that our design supports your story.

3.

Concept development

We sketch and share the story first. The storytelling and connection to your organisation’s reconciliation journey and purpose is the most important thing to get right.

4.

Digitalisation

Once you have approved our concept it’s time for colour exploration to come to the front as we digitalise your artwork and you get to see the full reveal.

5.

Pulled elements selection

Now that your artwork is complete it’s time to select the pulled elements that will support the layout design of your RAP and further tell your reconciliation story. 

6.

Packaging

It’s now yours to embrace! Accompanied with an Overview PDF showcasing your artwork and elements, along with their meanings, an about the artist bio, and Do’s and Dont’s insights.

We offer Reconciliation Action Plan Artwork & Document Layout Packages with a choice between a commissioned artwork with pulled elements package, or an elements only package.

These packages are for businesses that are in the process of having their Reconciliation Action Plan visually developed.

What's Included:

  • Discovery call to learn about your reconciliation journey, story, and vision for the artwork and document.
  • Custom vectorised illustration (artwork & elements package only) provided as Adobe Illustrator (Ai) packaged document.
  • 5 pulled elements implemented through the layout of the document capturing the story of your business on its reconciliation journey.
  • Implementation of layout throughout the full document (minimum 10-page document).
